Going to Woodmans East tonight. What beer should I get? I am a woman who likes not too many hopps.
Don't hopps just walk then.
Can't wait for 50F....running again
You could probably could have walked faster across town tonight It took me just over 2 hours to get from the UW to Beaver Dam...which normally takes about 50 min
DOGFISH HEAD PALO SANTO MARRON IS AMAZING!
Woodchuck Winter Cider is freaking good!
That's a plan. Warm yourself up from the inside out
I bought a 4pk of this. I love it.
Curmudgeon by Founders is back on the shelf. Hooray for me!
I also found some Scotty Karate by Dark Horse Brewery, Delicious!
Was at New Glarus on Monday the tried the "Back 40 Bock" tastes amazing.
I hope they have something good at The Great Dane....it's been a while since I had a beer....
I am looking for suggestions for an Octoberfest beer.
Staghorn by New Glarus is good. I am sure the Dane has one on tap, and I think The Flying Hound has several on tap. Leinenkugel has a decent Oktoberfest. I don't care much for Capitol's. Sam Adams is okay.
If you are going for draft, then visit the Dane or Flying Hound. If you are going for bottle, I would recommend Staghorn.
The best I have had so far this year is Schell's, but I do not think it is available outside Minnesota.
Oh, the best I had was at World of Beer in Evanston, IL. It was a 9%ABV Imperial Oktoberfest called Dragonhossen by Boulder Beer on tap no less!
I know it is Oktoberfest time, but I just enjoyed a Palo Santo Maron, and now I am working on a Belzebuth.
Founder's Curmudgeon is back on the shelf. I also picked up a single of Dogfish Head 120 minute Imperial IPA. I am not much for hops, but I have heard a lot of good things about this beer so I thought I would try it. I found it at Woodman's of all places.
