So, I got these fancy-smancy plecos from Wetspot - LDA08 A. claro and decided that I wanted to turn their tank into a planted tank. So... I fished them out and dumped them in a tank with my Blue Acara as a temporary holding place, forgetting that I have a common brown bristlenose in there. I'm going to work on that tank tomorrow, but is there anyone who is catfish savvy who'd be willing to come over and id the common brown pleco for me? It can wait until this weekend.

They should be very easy to tell apart. Pull the fish and put them in a dish you can get a good look at them in from a above. The A. claro should have a distinctive marble color pattern. If they are larger/older fish (still small... A. claro is big at 2"), the heads will be wider and larger in proportion to the body length than a common bn pleco.
