So I noticed in my biocube I had some black hair algae showing up. That is fine, i will get some flag fish as i know they are one of the few fish to eat it. This setup was intended for shrimp and small fish (ember tetras?) so I was wondering what the compatability level this fish has with smaller tankmates (the embers) and shrimp? I have kept them before (in a species only 10 gal) and bred them, but never kept with anything other than ramshorn snails.

I have some in a 120 with some dace and stonei's. There are a few larger fish in there also. They seem to be fine, but I don't know if I would trust them in a small tank with small fish. They can get nasty at times.

Ah, thanks for that.. I will make sure to move them out when they are done with the hair algae and put into the 125 for control there (if that happens)
