Does anyone know where to get small amounts of peat moss? I checked with Home Depot and they only have the huge bales of the stuff or miracle grow sphagnum moss which has a bunch of added nitrates in it. Any suggestions on a local gardening supply store that sells small amounts?

How much peat moss do you need? I usually buy some for amending a few garden beds, and could probably split some out for you.

Awesome! I only need a couple of cups. I want to make some of the soil/peat moss fertilizer marbles and make the dirt mix for a 5 gallon, soon to be planted, shrimp tank.

Where are you? Would a ziplock plastic bag full be enough or do you need more? PM me and I'll figure out how to get it to you.
