Xiphorphorus pygmaeus is the livebearer that I bought bag from Liz Marcho last fall. They are some males that are yellow in color. I have several that have changed color. They mature slowly. It takes six month for the females to sexually mature. The females have litter up to ten fry when fully grown. The sword is only 1 - 2 mm long. I should be able to BAP in the next month or so. I am feeding brine shrimp daily with spirulina flakes. I have a clump of Java Moss for the fry and females to hide in.

I wanted mention that have a short life span. It is only 1 1/2 years. So it is important to keep them breeders to have a healthy colony.
