These are the cool red/white striped shrimp!

Easy keepers. Want only a 10% WC each week, a pinch of food daily, and some moss or live plants. Currently kept in 50% tap / 50% RO, pH=7.6, GH/KH=12 in a 5g tank.

AUCTION: Auction runs now through Sunday, 6/21 at 3:00 p.m. Now that we have our BAP, we are planning to auction off all of these shrimp, including a few young adult breeders; some may be saddled or berried. We are anticipating two bags of 6-10 shrimp per bag. We'll include a piece of cuttlebone to put in your tank to provide extra calcium.

Place your bid as a comment below. Minimum bid $5. Each bid should be higher than the previous bid by at least $1. Highest bid is the BAP donation, and next highest bids will get the other bag.

Pick up in McFarland, just off Stoughton Road, and just outside the Madison city limits.

Wow, you are both obviously people of discernment and vision! :) Then again, who would not love shrimp that look like candy canes? :)

Where did you get all that cuttlebone?

I got mine in bulk from Amazon--they sell it for parakeets to nibble. You can just break off a small piece and drop it in to keep snail shells and shrimp happy.
