Joe Fleckenstein will share his tips and tricks for keeping and breeding Corydoras as well as discussing the recent splitting of the genus.

About the event
Joe Fleckenstein, the past president of the Circle City Aquarium Club in Indianapolis, has been in the hobby seriously for about 30 years. He maintains many species of fish in a fishroom consisting of over 100 aquariums. Joe has a B.S. degree in zoology from Ball State University and a Masters Degree in secondary education. In his spare time he is a high school science teacher. Joe will give a program on Corydoras and related catfish. He will cover the basics of maintaining these popular catfish.
Joe currently maintains approximately thirty species of Corydoras. His program will include information on water conditions, feeding, species identification, how to tell the boys from the girls, and breeding. He will also have information on the changes that have occurred recently with the splitting of the genus Corydoras
